Share Certificates are fixed-rate, fixed-term accounts. Like a bank’s Certificate of Deposit (CD), it is held for a specified length of time. Upon maturity, a Share Certificate may be cashed in or rolled over into a new certificate. Withdrawal from a Share Certificate before maturity results in a penalty.
A new Share Certificate may be opened with at least $1,000.00 and LorMet offers a range of terms from 91 days to 30 months. See our Rates page for current rates.
