New Wellington Horse and Buggy ATM

The Return of an Icon

The landmark LorMet Horse and Buggy ATM in Wellington has been reconstructed and delivered as of January 2, 2020. The original pictured ATM and buggy was constructed in 1999 and succumbed to the harsh Ohio weather. The ATM Buggy was written about in numerous magazines, trade publications, travel blogs and profiled on Neil Zurcher’ televised travel show “One Tank Trip”. President/CEO Dan Cwalina added that we modeled this full steel reconstruction after a moving company in Wellington in the late 1800’s “The Wellington Transfer Company” to honor the community’s long historical presence in Lorain County. LorMet would like to provide special thanks to Jack Betka of the Firment’s Collision Center for his outstanding craftsmanship and Joe Firment Chevrolet for allowing Jack to create this magnificent structure over the past two years. Also, a special thanks to Tom Ott of Vermillion for his outstanding lettering, Mark Lesner the architect and Sugar Ridge towing for safely delivering the carriage and horse on short notice.
